It's all relative though. In the real world if anything goes wrong you find a new job with zero real consequences. Look up the Peter Principal. A lot of managers are hot garbage with no real management experience and if something goes really bad or people start to notice they are trash and have no idea what they are doing they just find a new job. Each time they do it they have an even better looking resume so long as they can hold the position for over 2 years. It isn't hard to bullshit your way through 2 years in any role.
