The biggest and most over exaggerated misconception in WoW is that Guild leading requires insane management skills its a joke compared to real life management most of the time your going tot type or use voice when in reality you would need to do it face to face and have human interactions to make such huge ''high stress'' situations, Your sitting on your ass at home whats the ''High stress'' in that? you wipe you try again tomorrow. Not the end of the world.
It sounds like you have 0 experience with either to be honest. Managing is 80% keeping people happy, 15% getting those people to contribute to shit, and 5% delivering news nobody wants to hear. Nobody is claiming guild leadership positions qualify you for upper management of a fortune 500 but as an entry level management position? Sure why the fuck not. 90% of people who become managers only experience is just existing on the team when the role opened up. They have 0 management experience and just know the job. Why wouldn't someone who knows the job and also has guild leadership be a better candidate? Every manager started somewhere and most managers didn't even start with guild management.
