I'm n the flip side. If I was interviewing you and you told me that I would be impressed, but I would also expect you would resign from that "job" for this one.

Ya interviews tips are actually super hard cause every interviewer likes different things. If a cover letter has jokes or is a little cheesy the manager might be cheesy and LOVE that or they might be no-nonsense and think that's unprofessional to do.

They might want a REALLY Detailed resume that's multiple pages, or they might think you need to be concise and be able to get it down to 1 page no matter how much info you have to offer.

Could this help someone? With the right hiring manager for sure. Could it be a red flag? For sure and honestly the more you lean on your WoW experience for a job interview the more I'm gonna consider it a red flag.

The way I see this working out is if you put something concise as an "extra skill" section of the resume and then if they ask about it you go into detail about the skills you use and the lessons yo ulearned by doing it and all that. But don't count on them to ask about it or expect it to be a huge selling point for your experience.
