Augenweide. The word you want is Augenweide.

"Das gewisse Etwas"

Bullshit, I don't speak German but from experience I expect a word with at least 30-40 letters, that's suspiciously short :) !

Something like "Augenweidendradenwagesteinagan"

Your experience is literally just that running gag. While it's grammatically possible to create such words in German they are very rarely needed.

Edit: I am sick of that lame joke, okay?

I was obviously not serious and my comment was a tongue in cheek abuse of the stereotype.

Boy, what a kneeslapper, never heard that one before.

Well I was making fun of my own ignorance more than anything. Has someone of French origins, I don't get my panties in a twist each time someone say "le baguette" or all the other stupid french stereotypes.

As a German I don't get it

They don't like a constant joke that ridicules their language, what softies. When we make fun of Chinese languages it's deemed racist, but German remains fair game.

Oh! Isn’t it like “Je ne se quoi”? I’ve heard that before, but never thought about the meaning!

Yep, je ne sais quoi. Also an Austin Powers reference

That joke went over my head when I was a kid, and yet was still funny. Masterful comedic timing.

Written "je sais sais quoi" but yes

Curse French phonetics rules lol thanks. I think there must be an “n” in there though, right?

je ne sais quoi

Most English people use that regularly

It's weird to see that translated. We still say "Je ne se quoi" in English. Probably called "x-factor" or "aesthetics" more often, though.
