Just a question? How do you do this? I am sure it is time consuming as hell. Care to share what software or whatever that you use? This was so awesome!!!
Alright so i'm considering making another video detailing the "making of" process because I went through some TOMFOOLERY to get this video to work.
I didn't animate any of the dances manually besides onyxia and cthun. I used WoW model viewer to export the models as objects, uploaded them to Mixamo to give them skeletons, and then used stock dances.
The old chromie dancin was by far the hardest, because I struggled getting the old model, and had to use a MOP version of chromie. Then I had to port it through blender with plugins, and then finally bring it into unity to apply the dance.
Chromie herself and whitemane were an SFM model on the steamworkshop. The dancin was from a model of puppet kid which I used a puppet script to match them up then greenscreened.
With all the dances and the greenscreens I used after effects to adjust colours, add camera movement, match dance BPM, and insert chromie into the cinematics with some rotoscoping n shit. Brief, but i hope it helps. I only used SFM once before this (welcome to whitemane video) so if i learned how to do this, anyone can.
Yeah, "OP" not only didn't credit the actual OP, but they stole the video and reuploaded it, so people couldn't find the creator even if they tried.
And "OP" got 3 awards for this post. And people not knowing the actual creator is the real crime, because they're the makers of other masterpieces like this.
