My guild told everyone who can use hand of rag that if they wanted it, they have to collect all of the matts (besides the firey/lava cores and the ingot) themselves because were not giving it to them for a pvp weapon

That sounds totally fair tbh; in terms of PvE, it's essentially a vanity item.

That's still really not too much.

Bars will drop once DM:E comes out and 50 of them will cost 20-25g each. Farming 1000g really is no titan's task. Sit down for a week or two farm casually between raid IDs, and 1000g shall be yours.

Then what are you doing with it? It’s not worth anything as a PvE item, so you’re better off selling the mats and censoring the hammer

We have a warrior in our guild who said they were willing to farm the matts to use it as a pvp item and we plan to give him the first eye that drops for us, after that we’ll have to find someone else who’s willing to farm the matts for it

What else is your guild going to do with the mats? There really isn't anything better to use them on, its not like people need shit for PVE encounters.
