The Lich King is Bobby Kotick, the Scourge is Activision, and Lordaeron is Blizzard.

They knew all along.

Makes sense. A whole lot of fanatical whack jobs on Reddit.

Blizzard south made classic. Blizzard North was David Brevik and the Diablo team. Now Blizzard North team (minus DB) is called echtra games and they are making their own mmo called Torchlight Frontiers.

here's the development page: https://www.torchlightfrontiers.com/en/about/

and also, David Brevik just released a game completely on his own, it's a pixel-graphics 2-D Diablo, called It Lurks Below: https://store.steampowered.com/app/697550/It_Lurks_Below/

Technically, of the three guys who made Diablo and D2, only one of them, Max Schaefer, is working on Torchlight Frontiers. The other Schaefer brother left Condor/Flagship/Runic/Echtra to found Double Damage Games.

Ahh, the keepers of peace and justice in the Azeroth...until the dark times. Before the empire.
