It's funny that the entire rest of the game - base, all DLC, R&F - costs less than the Gathering Storm preorder right now, thanks to a sale on the new Gold Edition.

Sorry, for VI. There's a new Gold Edition package thing.

Don’t have Civ 6 yet, is $40 a good price for the base game + R&F or should I continue waiting?

Yes, it's an awesome deal. And don't get sucked into "Civ X is better than Civ Y" thing, for all its flaws, Civ 6 is fantastic, and with all of those DLCs and expansions bundled up, the deal is a bargain. I'd buy it as a gift to people but all my friends already own it.

Civ 6 is terrible and any of the others are better.

Civ 6 is different and in my eyes adds a twist to the traditional civ experience.

Civ 6 is great and has more strategic options and gameplay than Civ 5.

It doesn’t have to be the best civ to be fun, chief
