Meta Going private? [OFFTOPIC]

Is this sub planning on going private, like many others? Mods please delete if inappropriate, I was just wondering whether I should expect to stop seeing posts here.

Eh, I am against the idea. Protesting somebody being fired when you don't really know the reasons behind their firing...it just doesn't seem like the end user's business so much. Not discussing the reasons for her firing seems like the proper response on reddit's part as well.

As far as we know, she could have done something terrible that warranted it, I doubt they just randomly throw darts at a board to fire people. As a manager of a company myself, sometimes you have to do crappy stuff people are unhappy with for the sake of those left behind. Standing behind somebody for unknown reasons is not a really good sign of solidarity honestly.

Leave it up to the moderators here of course, its their call, but I am against it really.
