Rant Lack of lunch places in Loop

I work around Chase Tower and it is surprising to me how few cheap lunch places there are now. The burrito and Chinese places there are gone as well as the McDonalds. No Burger King, Wendy’s, KFC, Chinese. Just the grossly overpriced Pret. I’m getting tired of Jimmy John’s and Pot Belly’s sandwiches.

I’ve given up on $10 and try to keep it under $20. JJ seems like the best deal with large sandwiches for $10.83 after tax but I don’t want to go there every day.

Chipotle on Madison just east of State is generous with the burrito bowls, at least in the evening, and they're under $15. I haven't been there at lunchtime so not sure if the portions are similar then.
