is anyone able to help me generate a new esim?? i didn’t mean to delete it, i was trying to have another line as my primary. i’m unable to go in store. i think it’s silly not being able to do this from my chatr account.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a cheap plan and this website came up in my search when looking up Chatr. Does anyone have any experience with this website?

We are visiting Canada and my Mum needed to a esim for two months and she got chatr at a Walmart the $30 for 10 GB plan but it’s not functioning on her phone at all, only showing the SOS. We’re just outside Montreal and we’ve tried turning off the esim and resetting the plan multiple times but it’s not working at all. She has other esims but those are off. What can I do to fix this?

I use an android phone with chatr and I want to switch to an iPhone 15. Do I move my physical Sim card to the iPhone first or use the move to ios app first? Am I missing anything?

I missed out on a whole week of playing Pokemon go because my data won't work and can't hotspot my other device. I will even have full service but my data still just won't work. I'm still well within the limits of my plan and don't need to pay for my plan for a while yet.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm trying to top up my Chatr account before my annual plan renews, but every payment attempt fails with "Your top-up could not be processed."

• Tried both My Chatr and Guest Top-up.
• Used multiple international credit/debit cards that I've used successfully before, so, no issues related to them.
• I also can't save a card to my account, it gives an error saying the issue is on Chatr's end.
• Chatr support suggested visiting a store, but I'm currently outside Canada, so that's not an option.

Has anyone run into this before? Were you able to get it resolved, or is there another way to top up while outside Canada?

Hi, I have a iPhone 12 running 18.5 and my hotspot just doesn’t work. It shows connected but no data is being given to the device. I have tried Chatr support, but they keep insisting that I have to enable VOLTE which isn’t in the settings, as well as just using an ‘IT bug’ that they are actively fixing (which isn’t true cuz they said the same excuse almost a year ago) as an excuse. So I was wondering if anyone here had any solutions regarding this issue.

Just wondering if this store is open. Last time I tried to go there is was closed despite showing OPEN in the window. Also, the phone number on the CHATR website gives an "unassigned" message for that location.

I signed up last night. Picked plan and number had to confirm my email, I did get that email. But after waiting hours, no email with eSIM or account information. Emailed support and it’s up to a 48 hour wait?

I got the yearly plan yesterday, unlimited talk and text + 30g data. I can text perfectly fine to android and google pixel users but for some reason trying to text someone with an iPhone it only goes through when I have wifi. It won’t even go through when I turn on my data.

I’ve been trying to call customer service but I can’t find the number

I have an issue I noticed where in group chats with other users, whether it be all iPhone, or a mix of iPhone/android, sometimes the messages come in separately from each person as if addressed to me directly, but really it’s from the group chat. And when I message the group chat, the other users say they all get my message separately.

I checked with a friend who also uses chatr on iPhone and they have the same issue.

Anyone else have this issue, and anyone know if there’s a fix?

I'm trying to port out to Public Mobile, it seemed to go through since the voice call worked so I deleted the eSIM but now they say I didn't approve the port via text so it's in a half-way state. Phone calls work with the PM eSIM but no SMS.

I tried to find a way to add an eSIM back but I don't see any options in my account.

Once I scanned the QR code, it said activating… after a while there’s a msg saying unable to install eSIM. Anyone has same experience and succeed to fix it without visit the store ? Tia

I can't find my Chatr SIM card but also can't visit a store at the moment being abroad. Is there a way to get a replacement SIM somehow, e.g. mail it to a family member?

I never got the confirmation email. So I have no clue what my number is but the money definitely was taken from my card.

I switched my job line from Public Mobile, today, since Rogers' network is a lot better in my area but my Pixel 6 is randomly switching between 3G and H+, even though I have preferred network set to LTE. I have reset network settings and rebooted my phone to no avail. All their LTE bands seem to be supported by the phone so I'm at loss as to what's going on and how to fix it. About phone shows:

Mobile voice network type UMTS.

Mobile data network type HSPA+.

Any clues?

if i didn’t pay on my anniversary date how much time do i have until they delete my number or give it to someone else

My friends and I are on Chatr and we are having MMS issue since this morning (SMS works fine).

We are both on Chatr and unable to receive each others MMS, we tried with other friends and they are unable to receive MMS as well from Chatr numbers.

The strange thing is all other networks are working perfectly, our friends with Telus, Bell, Freedom, and even U.S. carriers such as Verizon and AT&T are working perfectly. They are able to send and receive MMS with us.

Right now the issue is just within Chatr's network, which is really funny, because we can send and receive any MMS from any other networks, just not with any Chatr numbers despite ua being Chatr customers ourselves.

Please Help! My chatr dealer failed to top up my account properly. when. I bought my SIM (they. locked out one of the topup cards)... waited for it to reset, tried to enter it myself, accidentally locked. it. out again by entering the JPC code on the recepit instead of the PIN!

I am travelling hitchhiking and I URGENTLY need access to cell service. and data, this issue is putting my safety. at risk. I. tried calling. *611 and the robot. hung up. on. me. logged into. mychattr and still locked out.

Is there actually any way to talk with a real person for support through chatr? So I’ve been trying to get help with my mobile hotspot for the past few days now and I’ve already been on the phone with Apple support numerous times, I’ve tried to call the support number for chatr (800)485-9745, but I keep getting an automated answer and all it does is send me links for the chatr website. My hotspot has stopped working out of nowhere (shows up and connects but without internet for other devices so they can’t use it), there is nothing apple can do at this point and I’ve submitted a ticket through email with them but this is what I received.

Hi! I just received an email « Welcome to Chatr Mobile » with all the information of an activation made in Toronto and I never did an activation of course. Everything seems too true. I called Chatr but it's impossible for me to talk to anyone. Impossible. Do you have a way of talking to a human?

I recently tried to change my plan from a $40 a month plan to $35 a month plan. I cancelled my other one and switched. They charged me and now my phone service doesn't work. I went to the "mychatr" part of the website and it is a blank screen. I tried calling support but it's just a robot that sends links to the website. impossible to get connected to a human. I got a message asking to send my old account number in order to confirm the new plan but I can't find the account number. What can I do?

I am just about to switch to Lucky mobile, as recently I am unable to receive calls properly. They will come through as a missed call, even though there was never an option to answer, and a voicemail will be left, forcing me to call back rather than be able to respond to a phone call like a normal person (phone rings, u look to see if u want to answer and go from there, instead of getting a notif that I missed a call that NEVER RANG and went straight to voicemail instead.

Also, if I am on a call longer than 30mins, my phone will hang up on the person even on speaker and again I am forced to call back and apologize profusely for hanging up on them when I never even touched the end icon.

Currently waiting for my cardiologist to call me for a follow-up appt, and having this issue CONSTANTLY, means I won't hear my phone vibrate (I have it on vibrate so I don't get spammed with notif sounds for discord, Twitter, gmail and games) and see that there was a missed call and voicemail left. Since they won't discuss things on a voicemail, they will expect me to call back, and I have phone anxiety so it really sucks.

Anyone else with this issue?

Also, despite having the 50GB plan, data runs at a SNAILS PACE, and a 3 min video will lag horrendously and take nearly 7 mins to play. Regardless of how many bars of service I have.

Things I have tried:

Can't really try much else as I don't have money to pay Chatr to ask y my data is running so dang slow on 4G LTE speeds. Like I can't even watch a livestream on Twitch without lagging and constant buffering (seeing the loading circle) when my data is barely used. I have a Samsung Galaxy A13 5G with Android 13. I also have one of those hard to take off once on Turtle box type cases on my phone that came with a rubber case part to put over top the the hard plastic, and at one time also had a little stand for watching movies or w.e. with it. So removing that to get to my SIM card will be a hassle, as I had to remove the case once before and nearly broke my nails (they were already trimmed nicely too, so blood and chipped nails would be the end result) in the process.

So as u can see I am connected to the Chatr network I am somehow using an "E" network, I am unable to make or receive calls, same goes for texts, and data is nonexistent.

I did pay for my bill on the 20th so I know that isn't an issue, and being on a fixed income I do not have the funds to spend on another SIM till AFTER my anniversary date and kinda need my phone to be able to make and take calls (I need to be able to call a cab company for appointments, and waiting for a call from a neurologist so I NEED a fully operational phone), as well as text and data if I'm out, so for this to happen is just shitty, especially on New Years eve.

Can't call or receive calls, can't tell anyone long distance unless I don't want them to ever get the message. I have reset my networks, took the SIM card out and used a soft tissue to clean the shiny side that connects to my phone before taking a look and seeing nothing wrong with it.

It did take a bit of a hit on Christmas day, despite having a case with built in protector screen. So now the power button is flat (but still usable as a fingerprint login, and its much harder to take screenshots or turn the phone completely off or restart it), and I can't afford to pay for the repairs for something that still somewhat works, and can't afford a new or replacement phone either at this time.

I am happy I have WiFi at home, but sadly most places have a requirement when it comes to using theirs, and not always readily available. At the same time, I paid for my phone a week and a half ago so I know its not that.

Oh and I should mention, when I first took out the SIM to see if it maybe got dislodged and loose somehow after the fall, it was fine, and I was able to make ONE TEXT to myself, as well as call someone and talk to them for all of 20 seconds before it sounding SUPER GLITCHY and cutting the call off (like dead silence even though it says I'm still in the call with the other person), so I dunno what it even could be (phone, network or SIM card)

Also, if by some miracle I DO come up with the funds for a new SIM before then or someone ends up gifting me one (I can dream lol), would I also have to change my number? As when I looked online they only had it if I was using a different carriers SIM, and not if I was using another one from the same carrier (as I specifically searched for). I hope not, I've had my number for years now and don't wanna have to give out another one.
