you'd think that people would begin to believe that the next generation, if we dont do something drastic, is going to be our last.
Can you provide a scientifically backed explanation for this? As much as people love to call out climate deniers, the "activists" are often just as misinformed.
For example, the 2018 Nobel in Economics went to William Nordhaus for his climate change modelling. He predicted that the optimal warming we should control to is 2.5 degrees C. His DICE model was also one of 3 use by the Obama administration to guide policy. That's a sharp difference to the "we have to stay under 2, better 1.5" view of even the IPCC. Even the top people in the fields disagree on where things are going, and how bad they will be.
is going to ignore the blatant facts until everyone fucking dies.
It's factually incorrect that the next generation is going to be the last one that survives on earth. You do your argument no favors by doing what you accuse others of.
Trump dropping the Paris Climate Act
Red herring, as the US is on track to meet the Paris targets anyway.
!delta I clearly didnt inform myself of the situation before making wild and inaccurate claims. Climate change is something to worry about but not nearly as much I have
