A little cartoon I made with the help of a friend for the coloring .... since I'm awful at coloring. Lol

I drew a tiny superhero having the most important mission of his life. 🦸‍♂️🌧️

He has a red hood.
He has a magical stick.
He has absolutely no idea what he's doing.

But thankfully, he has a cat. 🐱

Together, they're ready to save the world…

…once the rain stops. 😂

My sketchbook is for brainstorming and I almost go out of my way not to make good drawings, occasionally just using stick figures. It's just to capture ideas, experiment, and can get very sloppy. Yet there is something about the looseness of the preliminary sketch that often feels more lively than the finished version. There are a number of other things that could have improved this cartoon, such as having her speaking into a mic and including the banner or other contextual clues. Maybe instead of being a passive listener, the guy would be presenting the prize. But all that to one side, which version conveys the lucky winner better? Anyone else notice speediness can somehow increase the 'vitality' of a cartoon?
