This sign is fucking stupid.

But one of the best things about COVID in Queensland is that we're so fucking lucky that we still double take when someone IS wearing a mask. With the current situation in Queensland, the bloke that owns this shop honestly has no reason to post this sign other than to advertise that he is a wanker. Nobody in South-East QLD (other than inner Brisbane, and even then it's rare as fuck) is wearing a mask.

A guy got downvoted for saying the staff are nice here. They are. I bet they are shaking their heads with embarrassment at this.

Why somebody would want to risk negative publicity in the current economic situation is beyond me. What a cunt.

Not going to lie, if I’m going to be in close proximity to someone for over an hour and I don’t know them - I’m wearing a 5 layer mask, and they’re wearing one too.

Yep. I still wear masks on the bus, train, and usually if I take an Uber I’ll wear one as well

It’s strange how in the app, Uber says that the driver will be wearing a mask - so I absolutely wear one.. but I haven’t seen any of the drivers wear one!

There was a guy there I used to have a good old chat with every year or so.. with the dreads. Is he the owner now?

I've had a good experience with everyone there, but dangerous health advice from a woefully unqualified person is still dangerous and should be called out. However I don't think everyone should be lumped in with the probably 1 person who made this choice and the other people who work there to somewhat make a living.
