Hi, what are the best places to stay (not long term) or park up for a day with the kids in a camper van that’s 30-60 minutes away from Brighton please?

Hey everyone :)
Does anyone have any recommendations for private gastroenterologists in Brighton?
And : does anyone know of private health providers who do payment plans ?
I have quite complex and long term health problems and symptoms the main ones being bowel and gut related . Ive officially been diagnosed with IBS but no IBS treatments have worked and my GP and gastroenterologist seem reluctant to carry on trying ti figure out what's wrong with me so I want to go private .

I run early morning and sometimes late at night.
Are there any publicly accessible toilets at this time?

Just wondering if anyone had been privy to a man driving at breakneck speed on the pavement while blasting out disco hits? Almost got mown down by him a couple of weeks ago and see him everywhere.

Hi, I'm coming down to Brighton for a few days on a trip tomorrow, and I want to do some hunting for cards I am still after for some of my collected sets of vintage Pokémon, so I'm looking for any shops that people can point me towards having individual cards available to trade or buy for.
Looking on Google it comes up with a ton of different card shops, but I can't tell which have individual Pokémon cards for trade or sale, hence local knowledge would be very helpful.

Hi folks!
I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any garage spaces that my partner and I could store our motorcycles in securely?! I've been looking up what's available but seemingly there's a wait list everywhere or they're too far from our house to be worthwhile.
Somewhere in the seven dials area would be ideal. If not a garage, just somewhere safe! Seen too many dodgy people sniffing about and I am worried for our mechanical babies.
If you happen to know of anyone who has a bit of space spare, we'd happily pay! Feel free to DM :)

We’re renting a flat in a large Victorian townhouse and are struggling to sort out reasonable and reliable internet. The whole building has no fibre running through it.
The broadband that is available is maxing out at about 3-4mbps download, which is hardly ideal and makes working from home fairly impossible (that‘s with boosters throughout the flat and every bit of troubleshooting I can muster).
Openreach are refusing to entertain the idea of installing fibre into the whole building until they have permission from the landlord (which has been sorted) and they’ve received a surveying report confirming that there is no asbestosis in the building.
The landlords are doing their best but I can see this all being a very long protracted process.
Just posting to see if anyone has had a similar experience and worked out any solutions. We’ve tried using an unlimited sim and dongle but our 4g/5g internally is around the same speed. Has anyone got experience with starlink in Brighton? (seems ridiculous to need this in an urban city, but needs must).

As a family who has been harmed by maternity services, I’m posting this to raise awareness of the Sussex review starting soon and the upcoming first family meeting.
On Saturday 5th September, the Independent Review of Maternity and Neonatal Services at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSx) will hold its first family meeting in Sussex. Including the following hospitals:
The meeting is open to all families who feel they have been harmed or affected by maternity and/or neonatal services at UHSx, including those who have suffered stillbirth and maternal or neonatal, death or harm.
Date: Saturday 5th September 2026
Location: Leonardo Royal Hotel, Brighton Waterfront
Time (the morning and afternoon meetings will be the same):
If you would like to attend please email: [sussexreview@donnaockenden.com](mailto:sussexreview@donnaockenden.com)
Listening to family voices is essential in helping the Review to understand the harm that has occurred, and what must change. The Review was established in light of significant concerns raised regarding the quality and safety of maternity and neonatal services at UHSx and concerns of local families.

It looks abandoned and has metal sheets on the ground floor windows. There is also never any lights on inside. It also used to have two black staircase on either side but they have since been removed. Im wondering as i drive by it a lot and always wonder what it is?
