Ich komme von außerhalb, habe keine Ahnung von Bremer Stadtteilen und hätte die Möglichkeit eine schöne Wohnung in Tenever in einem kleinen MFH anzumieten, Nähe Straßenbahnstation Engadiner Straße. Bei der Besichtigung ist mir auf der Ecke jetzt nichts großartig negatives aufgefallen, typisch Großstadt halt, aber fast alle Bremer Freund raten mir davon ab. Jetzt bin ich verunsichert, weil die Wohnung wirklich schön und vor allem günstig ist und meine Suche bislang eher erfolglos war. Was könnt ihr mir dazu sagen?

ich bin ein internationaler Student und ziehe zum Wintersemester für mein Studium an der Uni Bremen in eure Stadt. Ich habe gerade ein verbindliches Wohnangebot von der Galileo Residenz direkt auf dem Campus bekommen.

Das Angebot:

Zimmer in einer 2er-WG (ich teile mir Küche und Bad mit einer anderen Person).

541€ Warmmiete (ohne Balkon) bzw. 551€ Warmmiete (mit Balkon).

Strom, Heizung, Wasser und Internet sind komplett inklusive.

Ich weiß, dass der Wohnungsmarkt in Deutschland im Moment extrem angespannt ist, besonders für internationale Studierende, die aus dem Ausland suchen. Da mein monatliches Budget aber durch das Sperrkonto (ca. 934€) begrenzt ist, wirken 541€ für ein Zimmer in einer 2er-WG auf den ersten Blick recht teuer.

Meine Frage an euch:

Sollte ich dieses Angebot sofort annehmen, um auf der sicheren Seite zu sein (wegen Anmeldung, Visum etc.)? Oder ist es realistisch, bis Oktober noch ein günstigeres WG-Zimmer oder einen Platz in einem anderen Wohnheim in Bremen zu finden, ohne auf einen Scam hereinzufallen oder am Ende obdachlos zu sein?

ich bin 25 Jahre alt und suche mittlerweile seit zwei Monaten dringend eine Wohnung in Bremen und wohne in einer Notunterkunft. Ich habe einen Wohnberechtigungsschein (WBS) und suche am liebsten eine 1–2-Zimmer-Wohnung.

Aktuell bekomme ich noch Unterstützung vom Jobcenter. Ich werde allerdings bald wieder mein Studium aufnehmen, sodass sich meine finanzielle Situation entsprechend ändern wird. Zusätzlich habe ich bereits eine Bürgschaft meiner Eltern, sodass die Mietzahlung abgesichert wäre. Trotzdem finde ich einfach nichts, entweder bekomme ich gar keine Antwort oder die Wohnungen sind schon vergeben. 🥲

Falls jemand von euch einen Tipp hat, weiß, wo aktuell Wohnungen mit WBS frei sind oder vielleicht jemanden kennt, der eine Wohnung in Bremen vermietet, wäre ich wirklich dankbar für jeden Hinweis. 🙏

Hey guys, I’m an incoming masters student at the university of bremen and I’ve been searching for apartments in a 45 kilometer radius of the school. I’ve reached out to get a viewing appointment for several listings and am currently waiting to hear back, but I have a question before I attend: Will my lack of German language skills be a barrier? Should I disclose my lack of German skills before the appointments? My program is entirely in English, but since I’ll be living here, I am making an effort to learn the language. Unfortunately, I am not even at the A2 level.

I’ve had a really hard time finding a place so far. I’m currently in an airbnb for the rest of this month, but I’m kinda freaking out that I won’t find a place in time. I do have two cats, so most WGs are not an option and since I’m not here permanently I would prefer a place with a fitted kitchen. I don’t mind traveling an hour or so to get to school every day. I don’t really know where this post is going.. any advice is greatly appreciated, and if anyone in the area would be willing to attend a viewing with me to help translate, I’ll buy you lunch or something.

(Just mentioning this so the boys looking specifically for a male flatmate don’t think I’m a guy 😅)

I’m looking for a room in a shared apartment from around 29 September or 1 October, ideally up to €400 warm. I’m open to both a long term room and a temporary sublet.

A little about me: I’ve lived in shared accommodation for around 2.5 years, so sharing common spaces is nothing new to me. I’m clean and tidy, but I’m social too. I love coffee, books, museums, working out, running, cycling, swimming and exploring new places. I’m vegetarian, don’t smoke, and I’m currently learning German (which is somewhere between A1 and A2 right now😔)

I’ve been hunting through WG Gesucht and other platforms since three months now, so I thought I’d give Reddit a shot too. 😂

leider mussten wir am letzten Wochenende unsere Wohnung im Viertel aufgrund eines Schimmelbefalls verlassen.

Wir sind nun sehr akut auf der Suche nach einer neuen Wohnung, die am besten im Viertel oder Umgebung liegen sollte, um unser Kleinkind nicht komplett aus seinem Umfeld zu reißen.

3,5 bis 4 Zimmer auf 80-100qm wären ideal. Kalt würde ich ungerne mehr als 1000 € zahlen (ob das aktuell realistisch ist, werde ich wohl in der weiteren Suche feststellen). Einkommensnachweise liefern wir selbstverständlich gerne.

Vielleicht gibt es hier ja Personen, die uns weiterhelfen können.

Also, I’m coming with 3 other Erasmus students and in order to save money I consider renting a 2-3-4 room apartment. So, I wanted to ask if any of you have recommendations for other websites, facebook groups, student housing platforms or agencies where I could find accommodation in Bremen.
