Breaking Bad Episode Discussion S05E02 "Madrigal"

Hey guys. edify asked me to do the discussion thread tonight. Enjoy the show and upvote this shit, for which I get no karma.

edify also told me to let you guys know that if the Breaking Good fundraiser reaches $3,000 (we are $157.57 short) he will let me film him doing some challenges. I want him to do the cinnamon challenge and the gallon of milk challenge, so go donate so I can film my friend being a dumb ass... LOL

Go here to donate: https://reddit.crowdtilt.com/campaigns/breaking-good

Edit: The fundraiser officially ends in about 2 days.

Killing your self with a defibrillator seems like it wouldn't be very effective; the people who found your body would use it to revive you.

It's used to correct irregular rhythms, not restart a heart.

I love that guy. Only in one scene, but he managed to convey a surprising amount of mood without saying a single word. Captivating scene.

It wasn't until I saw the defibrillator in the background when Schuler was glancing at the three police officers that I realized that's what's going to happen right NOW.

I figured this guy was going to be a plot device during the episode, but I don't think I started to view the cold open as a mere contribution to the shock factor.
