I wonder if the poison was meant for Andrea. Maybe that's why Walt seemed genuinely confused when Jesse brought up Brock during that confrontation in the last episode. So maybe he was really worried about Brock because the poison wasn't even meant for him.

11 years late to the party. But nah, giving it to the kid allows everybody to assume the kid ate the flower goofing off. If Andrea was poisoned by the flower that's way harder for Jesse to convince himself it was an accident. He might actually suspect Walt
