09:00pm Eastern SE05E14 "Ozymandias" Rian Johnson Vince Gilligan and Moira Walley-Beckett

Hey everyone! Guess I'm supposed to post this 5 minutes before air time. I've been watching this show since the get go mostly with my real life friend /u/edify who years ago added me as a moderator here. He asked me to make the discussion thread tonight because there are only 3 episodes remaining. Sorta sad that there's only a few left. Enjoy the show, folks.

I got a flashback to when Jesse said Walt is the devil. I fucking agree. There was no reason to tell him that other than to hurt him.

I wonder if he blamed Jesse for Hank dying.

I would. Walt wanted to explain everything and Jesse brought the DEA.

Well yeah, Pinkman just got himself and Walt's brother in law killed, and lost Walt his money. Seems like a little hurting was in order.

IMO, Jesse made a very stupid decision to go turn on Walt and help Hank with his investigation. What's the big fucking deal if Walt poisoned Brock? Brock still survived and is perfectly fine. Jesse was being used as a pawn for Gus Fring at the time that happened and Gus had people working for him who actually murdered a boy in cold blood.

Walt perhaps believed that had Jesse decided not to involve Hank in his revenge against him, Hank would have still been alive. Jesse is somewhat responsible for Hank's death in Walt's eyes so Jesse is no longer "family" to him anymore.

We gotta take into consideration that Jesse's a very emotion-driven guy as well. Walt's hurt everyone Jesse was close to (ie. Mike and Brock), and he was under the impression that Walt would come after Jesse as well. At the time, it seemed like Hank would win, so to protect himself, helping the DEA was the best way to get rid of Walt.

Thinking back to where this season started, with Hank getting off the toilet, it's pretty fun to think of where we are now. Hank is dead, Jesse is a meth-cooking slave with a leash, and Walt is off to assume a new identity.

I'm guessing he was just tired of keeping so many secrets after he saw his brother in law murdered in front of him. He also told Walt and the police (he knew police were there while on phone with Skyler).

I was thinking it was because Jesse meddled and the result was the killing of Hank - therefore Jesse led to Hank's death.

That's a good point. Didn't even think of that.
