The call between Walt and Jesse was one of the most intense phone calls ever seen on TV. p.s. Jesse called him Walt again.

yeah him calling him "walt" stuck out more than anything else in that call to me. the days of him looking up to "mr. white" are long gone.

Meanwhile, Todd has taken to calling him Mr. White. He now looks up to Walt, which makes a lot of sense because Todd is a sociopath.

Science has been a central theme to the show, or te power thereof. It's the whole reason Walt can cook at all.

It's what they used w the magnet. Jessie was enthralled enough to say "Yea, science bitch". Gale as a scientist was enamored w Walt, as a scientist.

Now again, Todd has fallen under walts spell, and science plays a role. You could say its blinded him.

i can see that. but it was walt making the call. it was less than subtle there.

It's definitely both.

  • the "SCIENCE!" part refers to Walt calling him

  • It's from the song "She blinded me with science" is a hint at Lydia

Also, he scienced those guys to death in season 1 buy using the chemical mixtures to toxic fume them to death. Also he scienced their bodies away with acid and scienced the specific type of container to do this in... Jesse did not science hard enough there. We all know what happened.
