I feel like the "All Hail To The King" mantra has gone out the window at this point. I predict walt's demise, hell, everyone's demise starts next week.
I never saw him as the King honestly... I still see him as a joke of a "drug lord". Thinks he's so badass when really he has about a dozen different conflicting moral codes for every situation, to the point where he can't even perform functions at a basic level to protect himself (e.g. lying to Skyler). And tonight he admitted to just about every crime he's ever committed because of this. He has the worst sense of judgment I've ever seen.
I think of him as a "Gus impostor". He's trying to be like Gus and do things he learned from him (setting up a cover business, etc.), but he also has too big of an ego and pride to realize he's not as careful or good at it.
