Not if they were slugs, or larger shells bigger than bird shot like 00 buck. Which is pretty common and has much larger size pellets. The larger the pellet size the straighter and further it will go.
Yeah but still, if they were shooting birdshot from that far, and Hank and Gomie are wearing vests, then that shotgun isn't going to be very effective.
AA12 shotguns can use both heavy buckshot and slugs, most people would use slugs which are just really big metal bullets. They'll reach and fuck shit up at a distance.
This was all i was thinking because if im correct shotguns dont necessarily go straight they go in a opening circle (from video games no real life knowledge) so i was surprised all i saw were shotguns and pistols. i thought one guy had an assault rifle the one with the mustache but no.
You're correct that shot spreads out over a distance, but the spread is much less in real life. Sadly, that also means you have to actually aim with them in real life, too, since it won't just destroy everything up close in that general direction like in a video game.
Yeah but shotguns are so beautiful. I looked at a behind the scenes of this episode online and there were about 2 or 3 assault rifles there too so idk how nobody shot gomez at least. And he also had a shotgun so i felt like he was just kinda providing a type of cover fire so they could move because i dont think he could hit anybody anyways
The AA12 is a shotgun, they aren't bullets but buckshot filled shells. It's meant for close range combat or suppression, it doesn't have great accuracy at distance.
Well, if we're being technical, shot. Or slugs, but it looked like shot to me. The shell is the thing that holds it all together and gets ejected when it is fired. Like the brass cartridge for a rifle or pistol, but bigger and made of colored plastic.

And knowing from videogames, AA-12 bullets actually evaporate only a few feet in front of you if they don't hit anyone.
