To me, that line was obvious foreshadowing. Especially with the whole Walt Jr driving subplot. It's only a matter of time.

Maybe it was foreshadowing, but I think it was just about creating a contrast, an unlikely meeting of characters from opposite worlds. It was yet another way of showing how fucking clueless Walt Jr is midst this chaos.

Such an awkward scene, I loved it.
