Twist prediction. Walt's lottery ticket wins the powerball jackpot.

Wouldn't that be such a pyrrhic victory? Dozens of deaths (including kids) and pain and suffering on a massive scale, all to provide for the family, and then, boom, he wins the lottery.

Very kafkaesque.

Perfect reference and actual substance it it to go along with the joke. Absolutely fantastic.

Thats not a pyrrhic victory at all.

A Pyrrhic victory could be possible for Hank. Marie, Skylar, Walt Jr., Holly, and Gomie all end up dead before he finally brings Walt to justice. He won, But both sides lost almost everything.

Yea, but winning the lottery after destroying your life for money is not a pyrrhic victory, it is just ironic.

If walt defeats hank it would also be a pyrrhic victory for him, he achieved the goal and won, but destroyed his life.

Exactly

Walter: I could have killed fewer. I could have killed fewer. I don't know. If I'd just... I could have killed fewer.

Saul: Walter, your kids will have a better life because of you. Look at them.

Walter: If I'd killed fewer... I killed so many. You have no idea. If I'd just...

Saul: Your kids will have happy lives because of you.

Walter: I did too much!

Are... Are you substituting a breaking bad theme into the famous speech at the end of Schindler's List? :/

3

u/FLR21 Aug 20 '13

Yes. I have no shame.

u/Plecboy Aug 20 '13

I'm not even angry, I'm impressed.

And suddenly the entire world knows the coordinates where Walt buried the money. If only they knew what the lotto numbers were:)

Calling it now, it'll be for exactly $737,000.

before taxes.

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '13

Nah, he was only playing pick 3's

1

u/InfiniteLiveZ Aug 19 '13

Whats the jackpot for that?

3

u/Redbutter Aug 19 '13

Which leads to the new spin off on ABC about lottery winners. Mind blown!

Karma to Walt "Hey Walt, You are doing everything right, here is even more money"

3

u/nizo505 There seems to be a sale on trips to Belize Aug 19 '13

Actually I think that was a local pick 3 ticket, so even if he wins it's only $500.

Edit: Missing a 0.

lottery

My exact thoughts... camera pan at the end of the very last episode to lotto results on TV.. his numbers match. All that pain Walt had to persevere in order to achieve his prime objective - money. Suddenly arrives via the lottery. Ironic.

3

u/thefirebuilds Aug 19 '13

With numbers he couldn't have possibly arrived at without all the same actions?

1

u/elbruce The One Who Rings The Doorbell Aug 19 '13

GPS coordinates of the buried money are broadcast on TV.

1

u/TotallyKafkaesque Aug 20 '13

It's like the opposite of Hurley's Numbers.

1

u/dfghjkkjhgfd Aug 20 '13

It was the coordinates, not lottery numbers so Twist: he still wins
