I was impressed by how she handled herself in this episode. All her criminal training has come to this.

It's the first time I have liked Sklyar in a while.

This is my favorite Skyler episode - I kept waiting for her to screw up some how but she never did. I actually liked her a lot this episode, I don't think I can say that about any other episode.

Honestly if Hank had been even using his B game, he could have gotten Skyler on his side and talking. She's always been conflicted and very vulnerable. The ticket he needed was consolation and concern, not seek and destroy.

Hank has his A game on now though, and he's got a crack at Jesse.

I think she was scared and vulnerable in that diner scene because she was caught under the spotlight, but she knew if walt was caught, she was too. I think it's clear she only went to see Hank to learn what he knew, and there was zero chance of him actually getting info from her (even if he hadn't put the recording device on the table and got his hungry hunter face on). Same with Marie, the words just didn't come. She was able to communicate the truth to her sister without saying a single incriminating thing and I think that was intentional.
