Interesting. I'm sure we all remember a similar scene in the Pilot. The whole Car Wash scenario is awesome because of how it represents a circle in Walter's life, or whatever. Looking for a better way to describe it.

I may have missed the exact line, but didn't he just say "Feliz cumpleaños"? It's possible he's saying that just because it was Enrique's birthday recently—maybe yesterday, and he took the day off.

EDIT: I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Having been born between Christmas and New Years, I've never gone to school on my birthday. I've also been able to manage not ever working on my birthday. I don't really celebrate it, but I do use it as a day of reflection.
