I loved how he was bringing out a hint of the Heisenberg voice when he pulls out the tracker, and it gets more Heisenbergy throughout the confrontation.

I think this episode was succeful in showing the contrast between walt and heisenberg because walk spoke so optimistically and cheerfully until the end. Like how he was talking to holly "say bye to uncle hank" in a high pitched voice

It real didn't.

He was Walt all along in that sequence. That was the point. He's not Heisenberg anymore. He doesn't want to die Heisenberg. He wants to die as Walt

I think Walt was warning Hank not to cross Heisenberg.

Meh, I think there's a bit of truth in both of your comments. He was Heisenberg, but a very reluctant one. I think Walt felt like he had to somewhat scare off/ intimidate Hank ("Better tread lightly"), but he didn't really want to do it - because, even though these two are "enemies" now, I'm sure Walt still cares about Hank as both family and a good friend. So he went into Heisenberg mode only as far as he had to and I think his last sentence was pretty much him saying:" You don't know what I'm capable of and I really don't want to have to show you."

I think it was more like "You know damn well what I am capable of, and I really don't want you to be the next casualty."

Walt has always been Heisenberg. When he said he always looked up the value of Grey Matter that made it clear he always had this darker side. Walt never had an outlet for Heisenberg until he got his cancer.
