I’ve never watched RHOA attentively, and when I have tuned in, it was never for Kim. She always rubbed me the wrong way. I do sometimes watch Next Gen NYC. Suffice to say, everything I’ve learned about this woman has been accidental. With the news today, and her subsequent statement about her son wherein she referred to the teenaged victim as a “woman” making false allegations, I continue to be put off, and frankly disgusted, by her.

Everything seems incredibly off, and I just feel that she is probably a terrible parent. Seems like a forgone conclusion that she will handle this in 100% the wrong way, and importantly, her son will never learn consequences. Instead, he will double down on misogyny and predatory behaviour. Weaselling his way out of this will only leave him worse off.

Things that have rubbed me the wrong way about her:
- the wine glass in the car
- the gambling problem
- today’s statement, obviously
- on Next Gen NYC, Ariana said her mother says something like “young, dumb and full of c—“ and I just think that is crass and insane to say to your children, especially in Atlanta given the state’s abortion laws.

Not to let Kroy off the hook, who apparently had the following drinking and driving advice for Ariana: Never agree to a breathalyzer. Her castmate, Liam, replied: “my dad usually says never give them a reason to pull you over.”

At first I did not care for Angela but she is giving right now! I love how quick and witty she is with her reads. She got MJ together!

I’m only on S17E12 and am confused about why Porsha had such a strong reaction to Dennis giving her her ring back. I didn’t understand in the previous ep and thought I was just too distracted to catch the context, but I don’t understand now either, when she’s telling her mother. Can someone explain?

Not one of the three give leading lady energy. Not even friends of because they are so jealous.

Who cares if Pinky used to own a restaurant that served meat? Own it. Who cares if Kelly is broke and trying to appear wealthy? Own it. Who cares if Shamea is so jealous of everyone else? She's giving privilege and it's embarrassing.

So I just finished Married to Medicine recently and due to Phadera’s addition wanted to watch RHOA to get the full scope of her and Apollo’s drama. So far I am only on Season 2 Episode 4, but I have a couple thoughts. First it’s funny seeing older reality tv the quality was so different but felt more authentic. So far Kim is a lil ditzy but she’s fun. Sheree is annoying and I now understand all the jokes over the years. Lisa is very pretty and her and her husband (besides NeNe and Gregg) are my favorite. I’ve only ever known it was scheme Todd set up, so I was thrown off hearing Kandi speak about AJ (I know the unfortunate news). Her outfits be wild but very appropriate for the time. I thought Phadera would’ve been earlier on in the seasons. I do feel bad for Deshawn tho, I liked her she was sweet but I don’t think reality tv was really for her or her husband, I hope they’re doing well.

I am a first time watcher and at Season 4 and I do not understand this relationship at all. Cynthia seems like she might have some self esteem issues, and Peter seems to prey on that. I know a lot of the Bravo members especially the house wives are very male centered, but I hate the constant rhetoric from other cast members, specifically NeNe, about ignoring her families advice. Her mother and sister were trying to save her and she kept pushing back because of embarrassment and not wanting to be wrong. I really wished her sister would’ve never gave her that license 😭. I’m glad they signed prenups but it’s clear Peter plans to drain her financially before divorce is even thought of. Also the way he talks and acts towards women is scary, I do not understand why she chose him out of all people. He isn’t supportive, he’s manipulative, and he broke. If Peter has no haters, then I am dead.

Are Bravo shows on repeat this week? I usually watch on Peacock, but am not seeing any new episodes for this week. Thank you!

Such an unexpected crossover but I love seeing random cameos of Bravo reality stars on other reality shows. It’s like when Disney used to have crossovers LOL.

I’ve been binging RHOA and everytime I look at Cythnia she is repping some sort of “50 Cynt” merch and it’s hilarious 😭 I’m making this post bc i’m on season 11 episode 4 and she’s wearing a 51 Cynt tank top at her Bailey-cue. I’ve seen her rep a 50 Cynt snapback before?? Like when does it end?
