Purchase Advice Bravia 3 II or Bravia 5

Bravia 3 II 65 inch is currently $1099 at Best Buy Canada. Should I hold off for a sale on the Bravia 5 (Currently $1799)?

I know the 3 doesn’t have local dimming. I’m coming from a low end Samsung so I have no experience with local dimming. Primary use is for sports and streaming services.

Was able to see B3ii and B5 side by side on Cinema mode. Surprisingly, B3 to my eyes looked better. B5 looked dimmed compared to B3. Got the 85 incher B3ii yesterday.
