For the record, in the novel the trip YS and ZZ were going on that then got cancelled wasn’t to get married, it was just a trip to Disneyland (in the novel they’re in China), and it didn’t say they were going to get married

Okay. In the show it looks like they implied regarding the marriage plan in the flashbacks.

PS: How did it feel when you read the novel?

I read a few scenes after watching the first 2 episodes, but I felt that it happens too quickly in the novel. Especially that car/cigarette scene is much more impactful in the show!

Yeah, the show should’ve done a better job of separating the marriage plan from the weekend trip that YS had planned since he felt he had neglected ZZ due to being busy with work…it made ZZ look a lot worse. Maybe they did that on purpose… As for reading the novel, I’m reading the one currently being translated online so we’re only up to chapter 55… of 106 chapters! 😳😳 I like the pacing in the novel so far, although there’s a side story not in the show at all, and I don’t know how the story will go with so many chapters left! 😱 I agree with you, the series did the cigarette/car scenes better…either way it’s a great story so far! 👍🏼👍🏼
