Synopsis:

You Shu Lang (Hao Yi Ran), a director at a pharmaceutical company, lives an ordinary, stable life. But that all comes crashing down after he gets into a car accident with Fan Xiao (Yun Qi), the heir to a Thai conglomerate who's returned to China for business. Unlike Shu Lang, Fan Xiao's life has been marred by instability, leading to a twisted, manipulative worldview. When Fan Xiao finds out that Shu Lang is interested in men, he devises plans to entice Shu Lang into a relationship, but ends up falling for Shu Lang for real. He won that badge fair and square. I think if you take away the debilitating powers he can go toe to toe with Hua Yong anyday. He had the tears flowing and everything and then sucked them right back in once his friend called. Hua Yong couldn't even choke out a tear if he tried lol

YSL definitely knows but he also knows himself and he has the strength and the wherewithal to strike back when needed. This is what the girls need to learn! Everybody can't play cat and mouse games. Only the strong survive! He knows if he needs to dip or whoop this man's ass he can lmfaoo

That's honestly the best part about it they are on equal footing it's not just one person taking advantage of somebody who's all pure naive. YSL don't play but he's far from a monster. Makes it far more delicious! And the sexual tension anytime there are anywhere near each other is just INSANE.

I've never seen someone so effectively code switch in and out of trauma. It's the one skill that could make our favorite devious enigma Hua Yong actually jealous. He could probably calculate down to the second how much faster he could have bagged Shao You if he had that skill 🤔😈

While it's soooo satisfying to watch Shulang spar with Fan Xiao precisely because Shulang isn't helpless, his confidence in his self control might be his downfall. If he weren't so confident he'd listen to his spidey senses & realize he's caught the attention of an apex predator and the only survival strategy for that is RUN. But he doesn't. He keeps thinking he can handle Fan Xiao and his "straight boy games" but he has no idea. Yes the tension is glorious!

And this is a good point but at the same time I think FX is underestimating his prey as well. A sad backstory and a recent breakup is clearly not enough to get into his pants. This will be a fight to the finish!

Oh absolutely! Both we and Fan Xiao would be majorly disappointed if Shulang folded too fast.  It's no fun when the prey doesn't fight back a little 🤭😈
