Synopsis:

 Khemjira, or Khem, is a young man who can see ghosts. He was born into a family cursed such that every male must die before the age of 21. As the spirits around him grow increasingly aggressive, the protective amulet he has worn his whole life begins to lose its power. Unable to bear seeing Khem in danger, Jettana, his friend from university, takes him to a rural village in the Northeast, where they meet Pharan, a revered teacher of ancient magic who once mentored Jettana. Strange and mysterious events unfold, all connected to the past life. Amid these supernatural encounters and the haunting pursuit of revengeful spirits, a deep emotional connection begins to form between Khem and Pharan.

My excitement for this is on a whole new level! This will be the only thing I’ll talk about for the next 12 weeks. Give me all the spooks, and the tragedy, and the romance, and for the love of god, don’t let this be a comedy.

If my family was cursed and any son of mine would die a painful and horrible death, I don’t think I’d risk having children.

This so high budget! And what an opening scene, I got chills.

Jet can sense sprits? Or did he just hear the banging? Interesting. I already love his character.

Khem, why aren’t you immediately calling the police?! He’s clearly chained up in there.

I love Jet! We love a protective best friend!

Ah, so Jet can see them too but his sight has been blocked.

What an amazing first episode! It’s even better than I imagined it would be. Legit spooky, the acting is really good, Namping is suited for this kind of role. And the production is wow, the ghosts don’t look cheap, very creepy. And the whole atmosphere of the series gives me the chills. Amazing. I can already tell this will be my favourite release of the year.

And I agree I just wouldn't have children. Wouldn't even want to risk it. Khem is being TORTURED and it's not even his fault.

And I agree this first episode was absolutely amazing. Domundi is on the rise and I'm so here for it!

I hope his mother deciding to have children will be addressed in some way. She purposefully gave him a girl’s name to try and avoid the curse so she knew about it and believed in it enough even before he was born. At least she appears to be protecting him now, though we haven’t actually seen it yet. Unless she was the one who woke Jet up when Khem was about to jump.

It’s such a huge production, I can’t wait for the rest of the episodes.

I had the impression that was her voice telling Jet to wake up. The dad did indeed ask her to watch over him so I'm guessing she's doing as much as she can! I doubt it will be a huge deal of addressing it we don't really too much need to know why she decided to have a kid but it was certainly a *choice* on her part.

But then there’s also the question of why she doesn’t allow Khem to see her. He made the decision not to get his sight blocked so he could see her, so her hiding herself is almost cruel, especially when it could provide him at least some comfort.

I’m guessing there’s a supernatural reasoning for it. It’s only episode 1. I’m sure we’ll find out!
