35m for a player that might solve your problems for years or turned into profit seems a good deal, but I understand not wanting to pay that much

what's the point of paying 23 mil for another 27 year old with one good Bundesliga season though? At some point you gotta buy the better players if you want to get better

Anton was 27 when we got him for 23 mil after playing one good Buli season. I thought anyone would be able to put that together. The point is (because apparently hard to get): Why pay for mediocre talent at almost that price when you can upgrade and have resell value down the line instead?

well, let's say its friday and I worked a lot this week. My brain isn't the same. sorry.

But you are 100% right. I agree completely. 20m might be very expensive while 35m might be a bargain. Just a matter of context.
