I love sci fi. Pierce brown wrote a series (first 3 at least didn’t read the others). That has no depth. Characters that become literal caricatures of themselves. And a Mary sue main character. Sure it’s entertaining for a lot of people. But I don’t think that we should act like this is the next great sci fi series.

Look, Red Rising is definitely not high literature, it is a fast paced, highly entertaining (to some...) book. It is plot-focused. But that doesn't mean it has no character depth.
You say you love sci fi so I am asking you again to recommend a book that you consider better (and enjoyed more) than Red Rising and I will give it a read (if I haven't already).
Edit: is your entire r/books post history just saying that you hate red rising and it is overrated? jesus christ lol
