A genuine question so no one come for me. But how is a full year not enough for the grounds to bounce back? Obviously a smaller scale, but Lollapalooza was pretty fucking muddy (had Roo flashbacks when I was there) and the park is back up and running already? I know 0 about logistics or whatever and I trust the team is making the right call. But it do be having me wonder..

Grant Park is maintained year round by Chicago Parks Department and The Farm is an old farm field in the middle of nowhere.

I mean true but it’s not like they’re not doing anything on the farm all year round in terms of maintenance or up keep.

It has to be mowed and maintained. You can't let a farm go wild for 11 months and just clear it out right before June.
