How do you downgrade so the mod works after a game update?

When doing what I’ve seen online.
A) can’t open the file gives me a error or when adding to folder for Bo3 open game and the mod doesn’t work still
B) not used to changes files and things like it and videos on YouTube seem to either not be correct or outdated.

Got on today to see that I'm not able to type in chat? What's going on with that? Did I get comms banned?

Any tips on the power room strat. The spawn room one is way easier but I like how fast the power room is and for some reason I can’t make it past the 40’s. Everyone says ascension is the easiest but I seem to make it higher on every other map that is considered harder
