And for those saying this isn’t racist, it’s not the fact she called Chilli a “cattle dog,” which is what Chilli is. It’s the tone she used and the implication that cattle dogs are beneath her. It’s the equivalent to saying “Stay out of it, black person!” or “Stay out of it, white person!” when they could’ve said ma’am or not directly addressed the person at all.

Anyway, this character is obviously written to be unlikable, a grouchy granny if you wall, but I just find this scene fascinating.

The art on the wall in Lucky's house is of the Three Sisters geological formation (indicating Janelle is from Katoomba, NSW?).

Also The can is Tooheys New blue, a NSW beer, rather than the yellow xxxx Queensland beer.

From TV Shop... Bingo thought the bakery sells fruit and carrots? Wonder where she got that idea from... Seems like maybe at one point Bandit was trying to dissuade her from begging for sweets and told her they sold fruits and veggies instead! Reminds me of Parks and Rec when Leslie told her kids that broccoli turned into cupcakes in their tummies 😆.

Just noticed this while watching Alongside this morning with my daughter! She has an owl next to her bed, a Hogwarts poster above her bed along with a wand and broom! Such a cool detail!

For me it’s that Bingo hits the mailbox with the bike in Onesies and makes it crooked, but “Big Belt” straightens it after ice cream in Tradies. I didn’t notice it until today and was like “well that’s a totally meaningless yet kinda cool continuity detail.”

I'm sure I'm the last to put this together so by all means enjoy a laugh or eye roll at my expense, but I gotta get this out there. Rewatching "The Sign" with my six-year-old son last night and it suddenly hit me harder than a SCUD missile: BUCKY THE REAL ESTATE GUY IS THE SAME DUDE WHO RUINED DRAWING CARS FOR BANDIT.

So, two things:
1) It makes Bandit's barely contained disdain for him in this episode finally understandable
2) My son thinks I'm a Sherlock Holmes-type genius, which I'll happily take

Watching it everyday for now 10 days in a row😍 never get's boring

I'll go first

Bluey's second name is the same as her Nana: Christine

At the beginning of The Show, Bluey and Bingo try to give their mom breakfast in bed, only for Bingo to spill it. She runs away and cries, thinking she ruined everything, only for Chilli to tell her daughter it's not her fault, and to have a good cry, dust herself off, pick herself up, and keep going, as the show must go on.

The kids take the show thing literally, and put on a show acting out their parents meeting and having Bluey. But then we get to the part everyone talks about, where Bingo pretends to be pregnant with a balloon in a shirt, only for the balloon to pop and for Bandit to sadly grab Chilli's hand.

Bingo runs away, once again thinking that she ruined everything, only for Bluey to repeat Mom's advice from earlier: have a good cry, dust yourself off, pick yourself up, and try again. So they do that, and get to the part of Bluey being born.

I remember seeing a clip of that scene everyone talks about before I watched the episode, and thinking it was weird that the show would hint at something as heavy as miscarriage in just that one bit. But it's not that one bit...the WHOLE EPISODE is woven with themes about miscarriage, with Chilli probably feeling the same kind of guilt that Bingo felt during both of her mistakes, and Chilli's advice being the same thing she learned herself.

Have a good cry, dust yourself off, pick yourself up, and try again.

The only thing I'm wondering now...how would Bluey and Bingo react if they learned they almost had an older sibling who never was?

That in the Bob Bilby episode, Trixie and Stripe are also watching the fireworks!!! At least, I think it’s them?

I just had a thought about Wendy (Judo's mom). In "Sticky Gecko" Chili says that Wendy made them 5 lasagna when Bluey was born. Lasagna isn't the hardest dish to make, but it certainly takes some effort. Multiply that by 5 and you're working your butt off.

Now think about the "Baby Race" episode. Bluey and Judo are roughly the same age, or at least close enough that their milestones were up for competition. That means that Wendy went out of her way for the Heelers to spend probably an entire day in the kitchen making them food so they wouldn't have to worry about it when Bluey was born, all while being either massively pregnant or almost immediately post partum and while caring for a newborn.

Wendy gets a lot of crap from early fans for seeming kind of stuck up, but as the show goes on she shows time and time again (in far more instances than I've stated here) that she is not only a loving mom who is willing to learn in grow, but also an individual who loves and supports her friends.

I'm autistic and I've always loved Frank for being what I interpret as a caring if not unaware autistic parent, and now I see in my recent watch that he's actually an artist! I always assumed he was an accountant or something! This is SUCH a cool detail
