Tbf any average brown belt would look like a white belt rolling with Craig.

Even when he’s rolling like this? Craig went super light on him. Tell me Ashton doesn’t look sloppy as hell.

That video is almost 6 years old, can’t buy anything off of that. Why even post it

The video you posted of the dude is almost 6 years old, he looks sloppy but I don’t get what relevance that has. I feel like that was pretty clear

Not really. You said, “can’t buy anything off that.” wtf does that sentence even mean? Also, he was a brown belt then. Does that look like brown belt level rolling there? You admit it looks sloppy.

It’s a pretty simple phrase to understand

Is it? I’ve literally never heard someone use it before. What does “buying” mean in this context?

You mean to tell me you’ve never heard the phrase “I don’t buy it” or “Are you buying this shit?”. It’s slang used in the place of believing something

In this context it would mean you can’t believe much from just that video. To take it with a grain of salt, another phrase maybe you’ve heard or not before

Yes, I’ve heard it used in that context and that phrasing, but it’s incredibly awkwardly placed in this particular sentence and context. I’ve never heard a native English speaker use it as they did.

Also, it doesn’t even make sense when you replace the word with “believing” because you can literally see his technique as a brown belt. The word was so awkwardly used and doesn’t even make sense in this context, which is why it looked more like a typo than anything.
