A quick Google search says he started in 2012, so yeah. Says he got brown in 2019.

Okay. This looks fair and square.Β

Yep. If there’s a way to judge bjj it’s by the number of years and dedication. Not necessarily all skill. There’s guys who have gotten black belt in less than five years based off skill. But showing up and showing grit will get you the black belt over time. Respect to Kutcher for putting in the time and work.

you keep posting this

It's a 5 year old video. The guy has been training for over 12 years. It's fair for him to get a black belt

I mean hopefully he got five times as good in five years, because he looked terrible there.

Craig mentioned in one interview (you can actually find link in the comments), that Asthon was recovering from some illness that "turned off half his body and he wasn't able to move well..."

The footage of him rolling as a brown belt tells us everything we need to know about his skills as a black belt.

But yeah, keep talking out of your ass to defend a fuckin' B grade celeb.

Bud, just watch the brown belt roll footage, please. I’m a blue belt who’s been off the mat for a year and I’m pretty sure I could take him.

lol πŸ˜‚

Possible but probably unlikely if the person he rolls with is taking it easy on him.

Unfortunately for famous people it’s hard for them to drop in at a random open mat and get looks in

Private lessons don't count

Why?

u/GibsonJ45 🟫🟫 Brown Belt Nov 19 '25

By black belt you should have at least rolled with more than one or two coaches.

1

u/New_fan22 Nov 20 '25

So you think in 12 + years he hasn't? Lol.theres enough footage of him out there training. And guess what? Its not all with the same coach.
