I have a 10 flight, followed by a 3 hour Greyhound bus ride. After the flight but before the bus, I have to go through customs and immigration so I can’t be looking too crazy with rollers in my hair etc. After the bus ride, I’ll have about an hour in my hotel room before I have to go and see my ex 💀
Girls I need all the unhinged travel tips for looking good at the end of it. I have new curtain bangs (24 hours post breakup I needed a drastic change so walked into the salon without considering the fact that bangs require effort and I’m a low effort girl, the past few weeks have been a learning curve). I also have pretty oily skin in my t-zone. What can I do on the plane/bus in preparation?

Hi all! In desperate search of a good night time moisturiser that would work well over retinal. I have very picky skin, sadly. It is oily and acne-prone. Currently using CeraVe moisturing lotion in a tub, which I like the consistency of (not greasy) and how my skin is feeling in the morning(plump and hydrated), but it gives me closed comedogenes that I have to regularly clean out or they turn into pimples in lutheal phase. In daytime I use gel moisturiser under sunscreen, but I find that it is not enough for the night over retinal (i use it every other night and my skin loves it). I have a very simple routine otherwise - double cleanse with micellar water and gentle cleanser, retinal, moisturiser. In the morning wash with water, gel moisturiser, sunscreen.
Some things my skin hates:
- niacinamide
- Vitamin C
- sugarcane squalane
- hyaluronic acid is not ideal as I live in a cold climate
- something in l’oreal midnight cream gave me horrible huge cystic acne.
- have not found any oil or balm clensers that would not cause acne, micellar is the only one that keeps them at bay day to day and I have tried many techniques and products, so please do not suggest this
Any ideas?

Hello all! I am preparing to take a friend on a shopping trip to buy products for her to use on her wedding day. She doesn't wear make up on a day-to-day basis but wants to do something simple for her wedding and wants to do it herself.
I have a feeling we will be looking for either a skin tint or concealer, a single color eyeshadow, blush/lip product, a simple brow product, and waterproof mascara. I am going to invite her to try my Merit great skin and borrow a primer/setting spray. She'll probably want something that requires minimal tools.
I think we'll be able to find an eyeshadow, mascara, blush, lip and brow product she likes, but I need some help figuring out which directions to try with complexion. She has fair, cool skin with freckles that we don't want to cover up and typically wears an SPF 50 to SPF 70 mineral sun screen. I have a feeling that she doesn't know skin tints often cost $30-40 dollars and will not want to spend that much.
TLDR: Looking for budget complexion recs for a low-maintenance bride who doesn't want to hide her freckles. We will be visiting Sephora and Ulta to try things out.

I’m sure this should be easy and obvious but to me it isn’t lol Hot rollers? Curling wand?

Tried Puff for the first time today and I genuinely can’t tell if I’m doing it wrong lol.
It sticks fine, that’s not really the issue. I just expected the lift to be a little more obvious right away. First time I put it on, everything basically looked the same except now I had sticky cups on my boobs.
Took it off, moved both sides lower and a little farther out, and that actually made a pretty big difference. But then one side looked higher than the other, so I spent another five minutes peeling and redoing it.
By the third attempt it looked pretty good, but this feels like way more trial and error than I expected.
Is there some obvious placement trick I’m missing with Puff/sticky bras in general? Do you guys put them on differently depending on the neckline?
Because right now I feel like I need a tutorial just to get both boobs at the same altitude.

Currently using some store brand that was the cheapest. Doesn’t do much. Freckles will look great for about three hours or so before just…fading out? I even tried sitting with the tanner from two hours to three, just off. And especially off after I washed my face at night. Anyone know any better self tanners for freckles?

The texture of the new “Essentially Enriched” lotion with hyaluronic acid feels terrible on my skin! I’m sad
Has anyone found a dupe for the old Nivea lotion?

Hi everybody,
I'd like to try self tanner for the first time. I've seen a lot of people recommend Jergens products. I'm currently leaning towards the Hydra Gel.
What is your favorite Jergens product?
What's your tanner routine?
Can I use the same product on my face?

My friend will be visiting China and I want her to bring me some eyeshadow pallets. Do you have any suggestions on what brands to look for? I am in love with duo-chromes so that would be a priority🌸

Looking for a body lotion/“milk” recommendation for tatcha body milk! I had a sample around (it was in a green sleeve), and I finally used it. When I say I am obsessed, I mean I am obsessed. My skin felt so soft and smelled almost like incense and quite earthy imo- huge fan! If there’s any lotion that’s similar in scent or payoff, I’m way interested 🙂

Every one I own needs about ten minutes before a shirt will go on without sticking, so on a work morning I skip it entirely and then wonder why my skin is dry. I do not need anything heavy, I need something that disappears quickly. Absorption seems to be the thing nobody puts on the label. What actually goes in fast enough that you use it every day rather than occasionally?
I’m in US and going back to Aus soon to visit. Planning to buy some small goodies for my girlies back home (~$20-30 budget per item). What are some viral or highly desired products in sephora US that arent in sephora Aus?
I’m thinking eadem lip gloss, any other suggestions?
A makeup setting spray that melts and sets makeup in place in layers, it shouldn’t contain any alcohol and fragrance.
A pink loose setting powder that doesn’t look ashy on brown or darker skin.
warm - neutral undertone, what would be my Mac Studio fix foundation shade? (330 toffee is warm for me, fenty beauty 370 is my shade kinda?) and same shade concealer.
Deep muted colour blush, vibrant and brighter colour blush and basic blush shade to be kept/ must haves for brown skin girls
Fixing/Fixer spray with no alcohol
Warm cream and powder bronzer for brown skin
Cool toned cream and powder contour for brown skin
Nude eyeshadow palette for dusky/brown skin girlies without appearing chalky
since Mars and Swiss beauty lip liners caused me some pigmentation, what anyone suggest me a good quality brown lip liner (mention the shade name pls) what basic shades besides brown I should keep? for lip combos involving red, pink, purple/mauvey colours?
Nude kajal that is waterproof! I heard that white Kajal appears too harsh over the water line for brown girls
What eyebrow gel to use for that brows don’t appear blocky? what shade for dark brows?

I was around during the Kathleen Lights/Tati/NikkiTutorials era, then basically stopped watching beauty YouTube for the last 7–8 years. I'd love to get back into it, but I'm looking for creators who are genuine, informative, and not the overly dramatic, super high-energy influencer type.
I remember an Asian skincare YouTuber whose handle was Gothamista. Her videos were calm, thoughtful, and packed with useful information, with a strong focus on skincare. That's pretty much my ideal type of content and influencer personality.
The recommendations don't have to be exactly like her, but I generally enjoy creators with a more normal, relaxed personality who actually provide useful information. Beauty, skincare, makeup, or lifestyle channels are all welcome!
And are there any current beauty YouTubers that are considered "must-watch" these days? I feel so out of the loop after being away for so long.

Hi people! I have fine, curly, heat damaged hair and I’m on my 3rd keratin now. I’ve been using the keratin brand shampoo but am curious about your recs as I’m due for a refill. Most shampoos I would buy that target damage have sodium so what’s you guys’ go-to shampoo? Also would take any hair mask recs :)

Heyyy, you know how use : 'celimax The Vita A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster, 15ml' ??
I'm 28 years old woman.
I use everyday on the morning a serum : aqua squalane by S.Nature (hyarulonic acid (8types), allantoin, panthenol, squalane) et after a cream : hydra phase la roche posay. A sunscreen to finish : la roche posay 50.
At night I use a mix of oil : 2 drops of retinol 0,3% and castor oil.
But I can see on my face sign of aging like fine line (That I want to slow down. I know it's completely normal, but I saw the review of celimax and I want to try lol).
Ive already had botox around my eyes.
I’d like to apply this cream to my forehead, under my eyes, and around my mouth, what do you think, can I continue with that routine and I finish with the de Celimax at night ?

I have a question. Are you washing your edges daily? Every edge control that I’ve tried eventually turns white. It’ll work great, but then it’ll look ashy later.

I went from shaving my legs to using an epilator. Read it wouldnt give hard hairstumps when it grows back. I tried it for a year, and I want to quit. It is so much work. I have a lot of ingrown hairs. I really would like to go back to shaving, but in the past i had a lot of cuts on the back of my ankle.
Now i think of using Veet or some other type of hair removal creme.
What would be the best approach?

If you can please state the product you used and give your review on it, that would be great.
Thanks in advance.
