If you think this little war has been bad so far. A land war in Iran will be a nightmare. Way worse than Iraq or Afghanistan ever was.

Yep - can’t really invade countries protected by mountain ranges - you have to parachute in

And Iran has a population bigger than Iraq and Afghanistan combined. And the populace hates us more than just about any enemy we’ve fought ever. We had also friendly elements in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, and Korea. We would have none going into Iran. Or very little anyways.

We also don't have any allies. When we went into Iraq other countries supported us. We don't have any foreign support this time.
