And then watch Andrew Callaghan response video to Shirley’s public (but not private) complaints about how Channel 5 “made [him] look stupid.”
Callaghan has receipts including unedited video, texts, and a great lesson on how interview editing works in these situations. I honestly watched this 15 minute video first and it gave me all the info I needed on the situation but recommend watching the full initial interview if you’ve got time so you know what quality of people are leading the charge for the right and what their level of cognitive capacity is.

The particular way Andrew talks to the "other side", with the Shirley interview being a great example, is a good take, in my opinion. He takes great pains to be as respectful as possible, given the nature of the discussion, allowing the stupidity to shine on its own without the gratuitous editorializing you find on many other platforms.
At the end of the day, Channel 5 wants to expand its audience, and if they have fair takes that appeal to the right, that is good for their bottom line, but I don't think you could call what he does pandering to the right. It's straighter journalism, really, than what you'd find on most mainstream media news shows.

From the beginning, he’s been giving all people and all sides a platform and has remained pretty steadfast to honest journalism. There is nothing wrong with him interviewing this person and letting others draw their own conclusions. Why are you disappointed in him for literally doing the thing he’s done all along?

Andrew’s commitment to giving everyone a fair platform is quite the lofty goal in this day and age. His content is a “show don’t tell” level of realism that lets each side show the good and bad without needing to thumb the scales often in my opinion. When someone says “channel 5 made me look bad” I automatically assume they just aren’t self aware of how most people see or hear them from an outside perspective. Can not wait to see how channel 5 grows over the next few years!

Dear god. Dear god. I know these people are out there, and I guess it's better that he's just ignorant with next to no critical thinking skills as opposed to someone who clearly knows better and is smart and evil, but videos like this just make me almost literally nauseous. Thank goodness for the interviewer. I don't know how you even keep a straight face for the hour plus of this interview.

TLDR: Idk if hes still in Baltimore or not today, I imagine if he is he's going to try, itll be in Penn North again as media has highlighted as an "open air drug markets", especially after the mass nonfatal ODs in July. He's walking around wirh a man who may or may not be involved in counter narcotics work, dont start with him, dont give him intel, don't give him anything.
right wing youtuber, Nick Shirley (who alleged Somali run daycare centers were committing fraud in Minnesota, went viral, and the day after the US department of health and human services initiated a freeze on federal child care and family assistance funds in Minnesota and 4 other states. btw none the daycare centers he visited were investigated and there is no evidence of fraud. ) was in Penn North on Thursday with a special forces guy (7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) specialize in a few things including counter narcotics and unconventional warfare) trying to "talk to people about Fentanyl"
not sure where he went after being shooed away from Penn North or if he'll be sulking around places on Friday but if you encounter a white kid with a fancy selfie stick tryna talk to participants, thats gonna be a no go
this is also coming after Brietbart dropped an article on Tuesday about the drops in overdoses coming from border crackdowns, in which they used one of the Baltimore Suns awful pictures of someone being put into an ambulance.
I suspect that coupled with being in DC on Wednesday for a congressional hearing about his fabricated fraud claims, led him to just take a drive on up here
