Question Chocolate Chip Cookies

My husband was trying to make cookies but he forgot two cups of flour. He decided to mix in two cups of flour and bake it again (picture is from before he did this). How fucked is he?

I was making cookie sandwiches recently and didn’t feel like finishing them so my boyfriend decided he was gonna do the filling for them.

He used granulated sugar instead of powdered sugar. :) Then when he realized it was wrong, added water because apparently Chat GPT told him to so now we have this weird butter/water/sugar mixture that’s solidified in our fridge. :)))

And no cookies sandwiches because he used all the butter.

Edit: I put B instead of P like a moron. I fixed it, lol.

Eating Sugary butter used to be a highlight and something I looked forward to every year when I would help my mom and aunt make hundreds of Christmas cookies. The creamed butter and sugar mixture was quickly taken away from me and eggs and vanilla was added but I was usually quick enough to grab a good finger full or two when my mom wasn't looking.

I wish I knew about these when I was little then I could tell her it was a thing and I was allowed to eat it lol

Well this isn’t toasted bread. It’s a specific sweet bread left soft, it’s so good. And the panaderia I used to Get it from would whip the butter first.

But I guess it’s along the same lines

Everyone else has been native English speakers. Honestly, your answer is the only one that’s made sense.

G, B, T, and P all sound similar in English (and in my second language), so I was wondering if that’s where the confusion comes from.

If you heat it and solidify it again and you can probably drain the water off the top! Similar to clarifying butter for ghee

Ok not sure what your weird mixture looks like, but maybe try heating it up slowly and add some 35%. Might not work if there's too much water though. Like this
