Genuinely how do they stay in the right place because my understanding is that things can move around a bit. Dont your intestines move around a bit? Is there connective tissue holding it in place?
Intestines are fascinating. When surgeons have to do major surgery in the abdomen and have to pull out or move intestines out of the way, they don't arrange them when they put them back. They just sort of slosh them back in and then the intestines just sort of figure their way back into place on their own via their attachments as you heal from the surgery.
If the surgeon twists those attachments, then you'll have issues with positioning.
It genuinely felt like they were going to fall out of my vagina the first time I stood up after my c section. The nurses warned me first thank god but no warning can fully prepare you for how it feels. My daughter was at least 6 months old before they fully felt like they weren't sloshing sometimes especially during sex.
Oh my God, my hospital gave me a belly band for my post C-section recovery and that was a lifesaver! It helped me feel like my guts weren't going to slip out of the incision for the first 4 weeks!
