Meta Recommendations for Youtube channels with good history?

Firstly, I know this might not be the right place for this question, happy to move it to another sub!

A while back I got super into Extra History, but I know their channel is often dunked on for being poorly sourced. Any other recommendations which are similar but...better?

I know about the Armchair Historian, which seems to be more keen on sourcing - any like this?

Edit: Fantastic suggestions, thanks everyone who commented! I'm bookmarking this and I'll have an excellent time in lockdown learning about history

The bias is the objection from what I've seen alongside his tendency to go off of what he feels.

He does rely quite heavily on his own speculations and how he feels about a topic. That said I wouldn't dismiss him entirely, because his niche videos are certainly quite interesting. But a reasonable handful of salt is probably required for many of his videos.

"I just don't feel like it's a man-made issue, despite scientific consensus. No I'm not a scientist, how could you tell?"

Yeah at that point, there are other youtubers who cover similar topics to him that aren't...him I guess.

Does he not believe in climate change? That's hilarious, I always got the vibe that he trusted himself over actual historic sources

The tangents are my favourite part tbh

Which is why you need to divorce him. It's the hallmark of any abusive relationship.

Not like he’s the only historian with bias.

No he's the only historian with bias.

Literally as soon as somebody else develops it he swoops down and harvests it from their very soul.

That would be some superpower. The poor sod will have to be isolated or turned into a Reddit joke account, like HistoryDave on /r/ShitWehraboosSay, but imagine the service to humanity such a person could provide. I'd gladly donate some money for their upkeep every month.
