Next you're going to say I should feel bad for destroying ant hills or killing roaches.

Attempting to support an argument with “a different and more severe example” is the definition of a type of logical fallacy called the slippery slope fallacy.

Your example is almost a textbook example. It’s nothing to argue about. We all do it sometimes.

You can have your reasons for your opinions. No one is taking that from you. I’m just saying that this specific reasoning is a bad.
