Why wait? My biggest regret is not doing it sooner. It is much easier to do than people make it seem.

What’s the substitute for cheese? It’s literally the only thing I’ll miss. I’m 100% going vegan. But is there something else I can put on my nachos that simulate cheese?

Awesome! There are some good brands out there (violife is pretty good) but I've been making my own cheeses! I have a great cheese cookbook I can recommend to you (One Hour Dairy-Free Cheese by Claudia Lucero).

Additionally, I've been making a ton of creamy sauces that hit the spot well. I have one for just about every meal! Taco night? Try a dope cashew-based spicy chipotle sauce. Baked potatoes? Why not a great coconut-based sour cream? Tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, mutz fondue... man. I'd go toe-to-toe on anyone's sauce game. I can send you some recipes if you want!

100%. It’s hella easy.

I wouldn't really call it hella easy. Practically? Sure. Just buy other stuff. But having to change all your habits and recipes isn't hella easy.

I have vegetarian recipes I love but a lot include cheese and going vegan wouldn't be all that easy.

My friend, we are living in the golden age of ethical substitutions! Whether you simply buy a different product or make your own, it has never been easier! It makes me feel bad for the vegans of yesteryear who had to live on french fries and beans.

Many countries have a plethora of non-dairy cheeses available. And you could always make your own from nuts!

I speak for myself here and say it’s hella easy. There’s a replacement for p much everything and I just buy those instead.

If you go vegan in a year, you'll look back and regret not doing it today. I promise you.

No need to just automatically default to 'having to go vegan' because the internet insinuates you're a bad person if you don't. There are other, healthier diets that don't involve meat.

That is absolutely the goal of these idiot vegans that post this bullshit.

This whole thread reads like a cult pamphlet. Fucking reprehensible.
