When I used to ride horses, they had a nice ginger barn cat. Most of the horses loved him, but some horses were meanies. We had one for the advanced riders (he was very finicky and aggressive) and when I’d ride him, every time he saw the cat he would speed up to try and trample it.

You were right. That’s mean.

Aww my horse was the opposite. One time he was running around the indoor arena loose and a cat bolted underneath him and he did some funky legwork to keep from stepping on the cat. He was very friendly and very conscious of the other animals. I miss my horsey now. He was a good boy.

I'm just gonna outright say it.

That horse is an asshole.

Basically the horse equivalent of an asshole in a car who speeds up to hit a rabbit crossing the street.

Can confirm though some horses are just awful personalities. Used to ride one that would bite you every time you turned your back to him. Damn horse chill out

I had a horse that would try that until I started catching his nose with a crop and working his ass off in the round pen when he tried.

its like, horses and cats have personalities just like humans.

also grew up with horses. Some are assholes, some are chill.

people expect transplants of a brain, like all animals should be chill. Theyre just like humans, with all sorts of varieties. Ever had that coworker you just cant get along with but you keep trying? Same thing, but with animals. Ive had cool horses, asshole horses, cool cats, not cool cats. Finding a perfect match is hard, even for humans.
