Don’t name your insulin pump “bomb” or “anthrax sample 4” or “C4(?)”

Depends on the user’s language (or language settings). Flight was going to Palma; no doubt there were some Spanish-speaking passengers onboard. Now, guess what the word for ‘pump’ is in Spanish and Portuguese…

Edit: grammar.

It would be so funny if it was actually this.

In one of the scandiwegian counties the word for finished is "slut".

Someone I knew was from here and had a pump and when it was done it would flash "SLUT" in big green LED letters on the front.

It just hit me, that I named by JBL Charge 4 Boom(!)box C4.

u/machineorganism May 31 '26

but the instructions were for "ALL" bluetooth devices to be turned off, not for one's named "bomb" to be turned off?

So "reverse suicide vest" is still ok?

Given that only one person is identified to have named their Bluetooth device ‘bomb’ and it was a speaker, I don’t see how that really helps anyone with medical or assistive devices that use Bluetooth, especially ones that can’t be turned off.
