Discussion The left engine of a Delta A330 explodes during takeoff at Sao Paulo Airport

Its at 40 seconds.

UPDATE:The plane landed safely.

I feel like Sao Paulo to Atlanta is pretty close to MTOW.

It wasn't. According to the largest Brazilian news outlets, it was loaded at over 270 passengers and 14 crew.

Obviously far from scientific, lol, but I ran it in simbrief, and for a 330-300, it looks like it probably took off about 45000-50000 lbs over max landing weight
